You’ve probably heard the saying: “Entrepreneurship is a marathon, not a sprint.”
And while there’s truth in that, here’s the real story no one tells you: sometimes, you’ll need to sprint.
If you’re in real estate, you know exactly what I mean. The spring and fall markets, juggling multiple offers, back-to-back showings, or wrapping up a big client project – those seasons feel like an all-out sprint.
I’ve just come through one myself. My sprint this month was publishing and launching my book. It was exhilarating, exhausting, and such a powerful reminder that entrepreneurship – whether you’re serving clients or launching a book – isn’t one steady pace. It’s a rhythm of marathon and sprint.
The key is knowing how to stay grounded through both.
For me, that means leaning on my Aligned Practice™. It’s what helps me stay clear-headed and focused when I’m in sprint mode, and it’s what I return to when the fatigue hits afterward. Without it, I’d burn out. With it, I can recover, reset, and keep moving forward.
That’s exactly why I wrote my book, Align & Prosper. It’s a guide to building a business that sustains you through the long haul and helps you thrive during those inevitable sprint seasons.
(You can learn about my Aligned Practice™ and create your own, by reading chapter 9 in my book).
